....they look better from far away.....touch pad on laptop doesnt give you a very smooth edge

If you like doing artwork, and you find it annoying with a laptop, you might benefit from a trackball. They're not as cheap as a mouse can get, but not that expensive.

Not a bad idea, i only play about on photoshop and im not very good but a trackball would make things easier
