Unless you want a full account reset, if I got it right the character reset do not reset any progress you made as in major loss of money etc.. it only reset the character.

I'm waiting patiently for the PTU patch with the Carrack to make its grand appearance. Other than that, I'm just tinkering with trying to find which shops in the verse sell various items for both ships & players.
