I'm not sure but I think I read somewhere that some of the original creators are involved and the same ppl that made Divinity: Original Sin 1-2, both games were a huge success.

Never played any of those games but heard they're good. I hope they pull it off! The Baldur's Gate series was pretty special for a lot of people (certainly gamers of my generation!).

I'm am so excited that it isn't Beamdog making this one, I was...less than impressed...by their attempts at remaking BG1 and BG2, not to mention that mid-adventure spin-off.

BG AND BG2 are games I go back to again and again since I first played 23 years ago. This new one looks to continue that very well indeed.

Hope it flows in real time like older versions rather than pure turned based DOS 2.
