Operation Tarspoon is important because those poor defenseless Vanduul need experienced pilots like TEST defending them.

I already have my pre-emptive participation medal for Operation Pitchfork as well as an OPPF shirt. :)

I do like the concept of us giving each other medals for acts of extreme partying and inebriation, but as mentioned by others, I'd consider it to be RP and nothing more.

The only medal that should be given out is a medal for meritorious service while heavily drunk.

I honestly don't like something this serious being outside of RP. While it would be nice to have a chest full of medals, I think it would intimidate the newcomers a bit. I prefer the old way of getting a new rank: begging in RSI chat.
