So I've been playing with a gamepad, and I'm going to try some flying with my joystick later, but I'm curious if anyone has fiddled at all with customizing the XML files for their own HOTAS or joystick setup? Right now, with the lack of customization, I see a lot of stuff on the RSI forums about it, but I haven't seen anything here. Is everyone just happy with their current input method? I like my gamepad, but I prefer joystick for flights. I just need a new one since mine develops drift while in use, as it's several years old.

I am pretty sure that there is finetuning to be done. Personally I'd wait for CIG to release customization ingame :)

As an aside, the XML stuff is a bit finicky. I'll probably just keep using my gamepad until I get a HOTAS and they introduce customization.
