Hey all, So I've decided to do put together a computer for home surveillance camera duty. PC building has been a pretty big hobby of mine for the last couple of years and my wife will murder me if i spend more money on parts. I currently have 2 gaming PCs, one is at my desk and that has a 4790k and a fury X, and the other one is hooked up to the 4K TV with a 6700k and a 1080.

I've decided to cannibalize the PC with the 4790k and Fury X to build the surveillance PC. I'm tansferring the 4790k and 16GB of RAM and power supply into an ITX motherboard and case, so I'm going to be left with a Z97 motherboard, a Phanteks Enthoo Pro, Fury X, h100i and some hard drives.

My main question is about what to do with these parts. Should I put a cheaper 4690k, 8GB of RAM, and new power supply in there and sell it as a finished system, or should i sell the parts off one by one?

A complete system would be easier to sell if you don't want the possible hassle of doing 8 different deals, but you'll probably get more cash out of each individual part (plus you don't have to invest in order to sell).

Yea, that's where I'm a little stuck. I have a microcenter close by where i can get a 4690k for $189, which is pretty good. But yea, I'd have to spend a couple hundred bucks in order to sell it that way.
