So, I am still disappointed the Guardian didn’t turn out decent stealth numbers. With +30 signature armor it seems clear CIG does not want the Guardian to manage as a stealth bird. So I’m still looking for an improvement over the 315p or Sentinel. I’m not really a luxury guy and I want something that can fit in a small hanger, which is not the Sentinel. Pouring through the ships with the latest erkul I made an interesting discovery.
What is fast, stealthy, sleeps at least 1, can manage a small fight, and is easy to park in the trees by the treasure cave (for cover)? I was surprised to find the Herald fits this description pretty well.
Set up for stealth, it has a sig of just 4.3, which means small ships can’t see it unless you get closer than 2.5km. That’s the final step in stealth until you get to real stealth ships like the Sabre and Eclipse. Call it “very stealthy”.
It’s also small enough you could fit two in the Polaris bay. Easy to refuel in deep space.
So hats off to the new, stealthier Herald. One to consider for daily driver.
