So it is entirely likely whomever fills the writing chairs will have the same background as those being booted.
Wouldnt blame the people, that's like the boogyman. I don't think the whiskey drinking cigar smoking fuck you writing attitude of some badass dyke you've made up in your head is the problem. That's just a narrative.
Writing has gone seriously downhill since LLM's became the goto. It's lazy slop turning entertainment into fast fashion.

Same problem across all industry that isn't hands on work. I write an email to my ceo about an issue and I get an AI response back. When I manage to grab him at the end of a meeting and say to him "hey I saw your email, that sounds good but it'll cost you X over the next 5 years" he looks confused. He did not read the email or reply, and I'm his advisor.
It makes his job easy and is 'good enough'. The employees are doing the same. After 2 rounds of redundancies where we chopped the staff who refused to use ai to efficiently do their job - who could blame them.

You seem to be conflating several different problems. The issue with UCLA film school writers all popping out equally impaired by psychotic philosophy goes back decades. You can find it in the writings of screenwriters back into last century. See Syd Field.

The problem is compounded when hate ideologies infect these kids, and they can’t help their misandrist rational for rewriting successful source material into garbage no one likes.

So what is your point? Do you need evidence that not enough audience likes what the prog writers did with each of these sources above? Are you really that stupid? The evidence speaks for itself. Henry Cavill saw it clearly enough that he just left Witcher. What is it you suppose he saw? He’s no misogynist. He’s just wise enough to know these progs sell hate, and he wants nothing to do with it.

No I'm not. You may not believe me, but they totally made it before, like in the 1937 or whenever it was. Like the whole movie, it's like this 2025 one is a copy or something. You'd already know the whole story if you've ever seen the original. Which I haven't. Haven't seen either of them. I live movies with giant battling robots in them. Those things are cool.

Anyway, it's a kids movie for kids or something isn't it? Do kids give a damn if it doesn't have tits or drugs or guns in it? I don't think so, I don't think kids'd notice their absence. Or their presence. I didn't when I was a kid but I wasn't born in 1937 to watch it then and I'm an old ass man in 2025 to watch the copy now so who exactly is supposed to watch a movie made for kids when they either didn't exist yet or were too old when it came out either time?

When I was a kid, I watched Howard The Duck. It had tits in. Duck tits. And real human tits. And guns, and drugs. And Dark Overlords Of The Universe. There is no Jenning. I didn't realise until I was an adult though, and I still watch it now.

That movie was producted by George Lucas by the way.

It's a legit Lucasfilm https://www.lucasfilm.com/productions/howard-the-duck/

And it had tits in it.

Broadening the art complaints a moment, I just wanted to say I have seen more vids ripping on StarFleet Academy than on all other Star Trek projects over sixty years combined. People really hate this project.

I have been a Trek guy since the original series and have plenty of opinion to spread around concerning what makes any project good or bad. In light of all that, the complaints about Academy are unique. (Not “very unique”. Think about what the fuck that means.). These complaints are totally unlike those of all other Trek projects. The complaints are essentially that they are written to a shockingly immature audience. Apparently rumors for decades that these younger generations have been rendered emotionally retarded by mobile devices, apps and porn have not exaggerated, and Trek is adapting to this audience. Even past animated Trek series did not pander, or “write down” like this. There have been no objections anything like this in sixty years of Trek. My Little Pony soon to guest star.
