Reason ONE! -
R9 Fury X + I7 5930k = 25frames in hanger / up to 37 frames in Broken Moon on Free Flight in a Gladius.

R9 Fury X crossfired + i7 5930k = 30 to 35 frames in hanger / 45 to 50 frames on Broken Moon Free Flight with Gladius.

Reason TWO! -
Driver support is absolute 0.. AMD haven't released a driver for this card since its pre launch drivers..

Reason THREE! - You can't overclock its memory, ( even when you over clock everything else, you're looking at about an exstra 100W+ just for a 4% increase in performance.

Conclusion = Horizonz is now about to sell the R9 Fury X and get the 980ti instead. ( they are the exact same price as the Fury X were I am ).

AMD = failed me.

Im done here.

So according to Horizon's review my 290 is faster than the Fury X???

Man maybe wait for a proper driver release before selling it and getting an older generation card?

Just yesterday i was wondering: Do i pay the rent immediately and manage to get by on 23euro for the next 3 days or do i wait a little.
Then i saw this post and thought: Thank god i don't have to worry about getting Fury X crossfired

I'm going to wait a year before I pick up a Fury X. By then, AMD will have either gone under, or the Fury X will have gotten proper drivers that beat the snot out of everything. :p

Let me say what I said at launch again, fury is for 4k. Anything less and it has a hard time.

Memory can be over clocked. Just slightly. HBM operates in a way most are not used to so you can't just throw a slider and voltage and call it a day. It's something you have to play with clock speed, timing and ratios to work out.

SC is currently on a bad patch as far as sli/CF and frame rates in general go. I used to get 160+ fps and now down to about 45. It will come around.

The last two drivers have supported and tune the fury line.

If you are not at 4k, a 980ti will win every day.

I run two gtx980's and have no issues. Also have the game installed on a ssd which helps. I could only imagin what two TIs could do.... lol

MSI 980ti is pretty, go for that.

Im sad to hear the Fury did not live up to expecations, I was hoping AMD got its ducks line up here.
It didn't live up to its expectations but clearly it lived up to its name, huehuehue

AMD had sure as hell better not go under. I mostly buy Nvidia because they have much better support, but they definitely need the stiff competition from AMD so they don't go crazy.

TBH if your in USA/EU/UK, get EVGA 980ti. Much better support and their failure rate is lower than other companies.
