Error when posting a comment results in losing the message

Found an annoying thing, I think is a missing feature more than a bug:
Chrome 54 windows

1. Open a group post Ex https://testsquadron.com/groups/posts/140/
2. type a comment larger than 255 characters
3. post it (enter)
4. an error occurs (is longer than 255)
5. your message is lost - the Input text field is empty
6. write it all over again and be angry :(

I've encountered the same thing - I suspect it's something to do with stopping the division posts becoming overburdened with massive great replies and taking away from the forums themselves.

OR its something to do with the way the website is creating variables to store posts in before actually posting - saves on memory etc :P
