My score is like 3-4% less then people using Extreme CPU's and SLI.

I have tried to get this performance for the price using 4970K - just doesn't work for me either so I went 2011v3.
More bang for the dollar!
This was a 15 second OC I did nothing special.
(otherwise you could expect something crazy)

I probably spent $200CAD on shipping. But, I only used $2,000CAD to build this. That was my goal.

It is my hope that this will inspire people to shop around, even if it takes a few weeks, to build a great gaming PC.

Most of the discounts I got were by contacting people directly and trying to help them avoid fee's while kind of still making it worth their while.

Oh I got my 5820K for $460CAD - shipped ! think I saved 100$ there. works like a charm. My computer while benching remained under 49C

And it was Newegg.ca <-- note : Canadian Newegg. (Bought a lot from newegg, anything I couldn't negotiate for, I bought refurbished or from newegg cause it was good deal)

The FTW has the ACX 2.0 and yet its cheaper then the stock ACX 2.0 980 Ti, and has/had 25$ rebate (I did not calculate rebated yet, as I haven't sent any out)

I am running an Hd Radion 7900 series. Should I upgrade or just crossfire with a second one?

up to you if you upgrade or not. Cross fire does lower your efficiency powerwise, depending on how long you use your PC each day you might be paying 50$ a year more in electricity or more.
