I finally took the opportunity watch Foundation Season 1 over the holidays.
The studio has done nice job, with most parts well-acted and the episodes looking phenomenal.
Of all the story elements, the Cleon backstory and predicament seemed set up the best, and played out the most, in the first season.
The early introduction to Seldon, pyschohistory, and the first foundation felt more rushed, enabling more of a reveal-over-time approach as we saw unfold in Season 1.
The starship designs were cool in their variety, though they might have been a bit inconsistent in their fragility.
Overall, I enjoyed this more than the recent Dune film. Bring on Season 2!
