I'm Geare, Australian. Perhaps the only Aussie who doesn't drink. I saw you guys while trawling reddit - I knew there had to be a organisation on there for Star Citizen.
My mates kind of conned me into playing - dove in and bought a Freelancer DUR. Unfortunately, they're all in a group which is around dogfighting and military contracting which doesn't really interest me.

What drew you to Star Citizen?
My mates convinced me to pledge, however then left me and went all dogfighting. Now I've got no one to explore with.
What do you look forward to most in Star Citizen? (PVP, Exploration, etc)
Exploration. Also, being a support ship in a battle. Or even just crewing someone else's ship.
What was the first game you remember playing?
Chess, probably. My mum got me into it when I was waay little. Or maybe it was some kind of card game.
What other games do you play?
ArmA III, mainly. I'm with a realism unit there which I dedicated a bit of time to. However 'cause they are a yank group, they're all offline by the arvo and nighttime is completely dead.
