Used to be one hell of an X-wing, Tie Fighter and Wing Commander player. Haven't played much of anything in the last decade, but I've had a hard-on for VR since playing the 80s. My Rift DK2 should be here in August, and a maxed-out gaming computer is in the mail (still waiting for the i7-4790k to release). Looking to get into Star Citizen in a big way. I have other friends who play instead of working on their PHDs, but usually shooters. I'm looking to play some great games, drink some great beer, and hangout with some decent people. Plus, I've got an Aurora.
aha rift dk2 is coming august? :D I also preordered on the day it was opened to preorder. Also I just built my pc and trading in my brand new cpu for the i7 4790k. Looks like we have a LOT in common. I hate how the 4790k was delayed to 25th :( Amazon offered me 1 extra month of Prime for the delay.
Unfortunately, my 4790 now says between 6/30 and 7/2 on Amazon - the rest of the computer is sitting here ready to go, and can't play Star Citizen until then. I went cheap on the graphics card figuring a GTX770 would be enough for the DK2 until the new series comes out. What are you planning for graphics?
