I'm guessing you can't gift Warbounded UCCs.
I got 2 of these I was hoping let go of but I guess that's not how it works. Pre - IAE price increase making it a $225 saving. SO other than melting them I don't really know what to do with them.

The war bond ones have that in the name, yours don't seem to. Did you purchase with fresh cash or did you use any amount of store credit?

Man I just noticed they are not warbounded... and they were bought with credit

you cannot use credit to buy warbond items. Warbond mean fresh cash only.

One way of getting around it would be if you had bought the hammerhead with $$$ then when you apply the CCU it should still be giftable (unless cig have changed it recently).

If you can get an older cheaper hammerhead pledge and buy if off someone,

melt it.

Buy it back with the credit card. Now it's giftable.

Apply the polaris upgrade. Polaris should now be giftable.

then you can sell it and still should be cheaper than buying a polaris now? You'd have to do the maths TBH i couldn't be bothers with all the messing around. I'd melt the CCUs and just buy whatever you want yourself.

Yeah you'd need to buy a cheaper ship for real $, ideally with LTI, chain it up to the Polaris, and then sell the LTI CCU-ed Polaris. Doable, but likely you'd rather not bother and just melt for credit.
