Hi everyone, my name is Josh, but I often go by Jaydo in games. I was bored and hungover from new year's, so I decided to post an intro thread.
Where you from stranger?
I am from Washington, originally the west side of the state (Puyallup/Tacoma/Seattle area), but am now finishing up school in Eastern Washington.
What drew you to Star Citizen?
It's everything I've wanted ever since I played Freelancer and EVE back in the day. Both those games were/are so great, but are just missing certain elements I really wanted.
What do you look forward to most in Star Citizen? (PVP, Exploration, etc)
Exploration sounds awesome, but mostly I think I'm going to enjoy escorting haulers and miners if that is viable. I would love to shoot the shit with people during casual activities, then get good fights in when the time arises.
Maybe I'll consider doing some industrial stuff too if I find something that feels fun. (Mining in EVE was just not my thing)
What was the first game you remember playing?
Excitebike.
What other games do you play?
I currently play a crap ton of Guild Wars 2, and a little bit of Starbound.
