I'm under the impression that when we finally obtain a Bengal, we'd have to follow through on our plans pretty quick. There will be a ton of Orgs out there that will try to stop us from jovially obliterating a top-level capital ship for laughs as soon as they find out we have one since it's no secret what we're intending to do.

We can crash one Bengal. If we get another, we're going to keep it, sell it, or scrap it.

Ultimately, though, I am personally more interested in having a Pegasus Escort Carrier in our fleet.

Exactly. Fix it up, turn it into the sun and watch as its mass gets added to the star. And we do it asap so those other orgs can't take it from us. The other reasons you're familiar with of course is cost overhead. Fixing the ship up to full battle status will be costly. VERY costly to run and fight with. Even if it alone has the power to turn any battle it can still be taken away, blown up, or otherwise disabled it might as well not be ours anymore. Giving it to the star is better for us and it.

Next the tears from the community when we give it willingly to be slagged. I learned this from Eve Online in such good detail. We record the final moments and then release it on twitch as a 'live' event and make a big fuss about it. People flock to the system in an effort to stop us and find nothing. We then say we did it last week once the questions start flying and the tears in turn fuel our next conquest. Because if there is a limited number of these placed in the verse and one is lost. It will be lost for good.

Come to think of it it will enrich us more if we get a fleet of Reclaimers to nom nom the hell out of it and sell the raw materials. and like Nkato I'm also more interested in the Escort Carrier.
