Mining Game

New mini game is here! I am glad they have said PU will not be about grinding because this game is. I have lost track of how long I have been playing it and the only thing I know is the value of ore keeps going down and down. But it still has me hooked. For what we shall see.

For some reason refreshing the page made the prices reset for me. Maybe that'll help with the grinding?

I saw that. At first I thought it was because I was flooding the market, and decided to hold onto my stores to spike demand. Then the prices kept dropping.

They apparently fixed some of the bugs that made the game utterly and worthlessly unplayable, but it's still not really "fun" per se.

The explorer one was kinda fun. This was dull.. Humarabi on my trs-80 was more dynamic..

Still, glad to have the badge.

There was a huge difference between day one and day two. Day one I could not keep more than one probe or within a couple minutes one would be blown up. Then there would be the pirates and forced repairs. As my debt was growing the ore value was dropping. It was super realistic a constant uphill struggle just to stay at the bottom. I felt like the pour souls from Gold Rush.
Day two reset game to start fresh.... and paid off debt. It wasn't quite that easy but it was a whole lot easier, more like a game than a life simulator.
The one strategy I came away with from prefix was drill drill drill but wait on the prospecting until you have some upgrades done like drones and prospecting. I give it 3 out of 4 drones. "A gas pocket explodes destroying one of your drones. There is nothing left to salvage"

I never got attacked at all. It just seemed a constant barrage of scanning, and hope I have enough cash saved when the merchant came around.

I never used a merchant, never had anything blown up, I was attacked by pirates a couple of times for AFKing but all they did was steal ore and pay off some of my debt (Bug?) It only took me about 10 minutes and it was overall pretty dull.

I did the mining game after they fixed the market... thank god, I was lucky with traders coming in soon as I had a 100K so i was able to buy most of my upgrades cheap

glad i got my title so i never have to play that again :D
