In today's Around The Verse, the Foundry 42 UK studio confirmed that we will finally get a true multiplayer Free Flight Mode soon in Arena Commander, which as they state, will be for learning a new landing system for ships and will include a new asteroid hangar of sorts for us to use in-game.
Some of you may remember that I'd posted a petition in the RSI forums requesting this very feature back in December. Although it only received just under 700 signatures (votes), it was apparently enough to let CIG know it's something the greater Star Citizen community wanted, and now, it's going to happen.
So to all of you that signed the petition and left a comment, you rule. I am stoked we are getting this well before AC 2.0 Multicrew drops this Summer and I will see you in the 'Verse! Woot!
