I went Intel for the first time after being loyal to AMD since the AMD Athlon II X2 250. Only small update I will do to this build is up the ram to 32 or 64gb. 16gb doesn't seem enough anymore.

That's so funny you where AMD and went Intel... well I balanced you out as a former Intel only, I just went 3900 and 5700 xt for my build!

Yeah man, you are bucking the trend...I'm planning on going to AMD from Intell next rig.

A lot of parts are a year old or more, I hope you got a good deal!

FYI, Star Citizen is fine with 16GB of RAM now, if you were going to upgrade to 32 just for SC, don't bother anymore.

Marketing is a poor measure of CPU performance. The performance of a CPU is not relative to the number of cores the CPU has. That is dependant on factors outside of the AMD vs Intel processor argument.
