It's what I run in my rig currently. I have absolutely no issues thus far with mine
Do you have probs with overclocking? I was curious if my game crashes with blue_ish error or if my oc was the problem?
Maybe sometimes the game is crashier than at other times? I would suggest most likely cause was server-communication problems?

Here's my secure (downgraded) specs>
@ 3.7GHz (cpu, 1.25V), 3600MHz (ram, CL19, 1.35V), 100MHz (bclk), LoadLineCal. = medium

Have you run memtest86 in Parallel mode? I recently got 32gigs of 3200MHz memory, that passed the single-thread tests with no errors, (which took 15h) but with more threads the errors started piling up. When I brought it down to 2933MHz the errors almost completely went away. I'm still testing different settings to find a stable setup.

The speed of your PC could cause issues if you overclock too much for the hardware to keep up. It's on the margins where the issues happen, the stuff works, tests as OK but can't keep up under load. If you're on the margins, you can sometime reduce the clock speed just a bit and it'll be fine. But in SC the game itself is prone to error too, and sometimes it's a little flaky just because of what server you're connecting to. The error messages you get from SC are optimistic condition errors too, so don't rely on them.

I use almost exclusively Nvidia for the past several years but it is not a preference because of performance, or mining bitcoin. I used AMD video for years, well actually since way before AMD bought ATI. Right now I like both architectures, they both meet most people's requirements, but I need something that has the right kind of GPU... and that's Nvidia.
