I’ve got an original Oculus Quest 128GB for sale. I’ve upgraded it with the HTC Vive Deluxe audio strap, often referred to as the “FrankenQuest”. I’m including a OculusLink cable for tethering to a PC, the original head strap, charger and original box. The unit is very clean and works great.

$200 — May trade for Spaceships or other in-game items. I ship via UPS insured and only accept PayPal.

SOLD!

I always wondered about doing something like this in combination with a head tracker. It'd be wild!

I would love to see a great VR tutorial here for SC users. The thing that scares me about headsets is not being able to see the keyboard. Are you using the headset for everything: flying, FPS, etc.?

certainly, even the best headsets are not crazy high when compared to a nice 49" screen, and it takes up a LOT less real estate in the home. Just needs a comfy chair it would seem.

I used it for standalone gaming, and some tethered experiences on the PC, but I never used it for StarCitizen. I always intended to try it, but never got around to it. I have HOSAS, pedals, 37" curved ultra wide monitor, and Tobii... tbh it's as good as VR without the head mounted hardware and eye strain. :)
