Is there a TL;DW?
TL;DW

PBR = Global illumination and reflections combined with PBR materials that use black to white ranges for material types and reflectivity

Render to Texture = a camera's viewpoint being made into a texture map that can then be placed on any surface in the game world

Diegetic asset = any asset that exists in the game world with you, being rendered in real time.

Since you have been focusing on this topic.

What i have understood so far RTT can "record" a certain action and give this input somewhere else for rendering. Is it planned to use this as some kind of recording feature for things we do in SC?
Would be cool because you could record the situation and (re-)render that later with different camera angles (and maybe also maximal graphic settings)

A RTT camera could be instructed to send its feed to a file location that captured all the frames and either compiled them into a video, or made the individual image files available for compilation into a video later, though by default it doesn't 'record,' it just converts its real time view into a useable image file that only exists during runtime. You would need to set up the cameras yourself to get custom angles prior to engaging in whatever action you wanted to record, as the RTT cameras are only operating while you are playing game, and their viewpoints cannot be altered afterwards.

I am hoping is that with Lumberyard's built in Twtich integration, CiG and/or Amazon will find a way to let players send different camera views(like from a Reliant Mako, or that video drone they showed in one of the semi-recent ATV episodes) to their twitch feed. That would be pretty awesome
