Im making my character on ship 1 with some friends. Would like to throw out to TEST all getting on ship 1 as you can not freely move between ships even if you dont plan on joining a test group but want to play together.

Are you referring to the PC or console version? I didn't think that the PC version had been released yet, but I'm interested since I really enjoyed Phantasy Star Online.
Ah, ok. Good to know. I'd found something about that on the Microsoft store, but they wouldn't allow me to download it to my PC. That was several days or so ago though. Is it now downloadable?
The only thing that I can think of is that it might not find my PC because I haven't had an XBOX Live account active since a year or so after the day the 360 was initially sold.
preload is 11pm pacific so im assuming the page wont even be up till near that time

Blimey. I played the original on the Dreamcast back in 2001. Be interested in hearing how this is - though whether / when it makes it to Europe is another matter.
I enjoyed the original PSO on the Dreamcast as well back in the day. It's probably that it just became available to download, but I started 1 min after it was available & it took me almost 3.5 hours to download & install it. For those that also do so, mine failed to download multiple times along the way. Hang in there.
I've got the game downloaded, but I haven't made my character yet as I'm watching videos to figure out what sort of character I want to make as well as what mistakes to avoid before I do. If we're starting up a TEST Party or whatever in game, I'm down for that. I just need to know when & where to meet up.
