Well, the only thing the Polaris needed to outmaneuver was the Size 10 on the Idris, and that ship's handling got nerfed as well.
Where these changes could create issues is keeping the manned turret on target against smaller ships.. generally feels like a 'because I said so' kind of nerf that serves no real gameplay purpose.
