Just a quick PSA because I see this as an issue that has yet to be resolved in that there is no notifcation that your webcam is about to turn on.
When you start up Star Citizen, it has a great little feature called FOIP, which is face over IP. Your character in the game will move their face as it is tracking yours.
At the moment this is a default setting that surprises a lot of people when they first start up Star Citizen.
