Biography
Lazily slipped quietly through education. Building up debts and practicing the art of intoxication for many years. He had no real direction in life but had a keen interest in pre-space civilization.
After reading up on the Old Age, he fancied himself as a Vikingr. Unable to find a decent Longship anywhere, or even a good axe, decided on Piracy instead.
Captaining his own space ship seemed like the logical answer. Unfortunately, his amiability [Due to permanently high levels of Rum in his blood] meant he was less of a true cut-throat, and more of a Stand and Deliver highwayman type. Prepared to duel to not-quite-the-death. Which in space, isn't so productive. Given the chance, most opponents run or shoot first. Which led to many a shakes of a clenched fist in the former, and many clenchings of his posterior in the latter...
He still yearns for the excitement but for now keeps himself sated with exploring the uncharted edges of known space, for loot, alien tech, claiming rights, and anything else that might turn a profit or leave his name on a data slate somewhere.
