So....No Man's Sky is good now?

Starting playing NMS again, since the 5.0 drop. Gotta admit it is pretty good now. I mean there are a few bugs still, though few that are game breaking. Seems that 8 years after launch, they have gotten it so that it is playable and more enjoyable.

What are your thoughts?

I've heard a lot of increasingly positive things about NMS over time as patches & updates came out since they started producing new content for it. This is a good thing.

Also it is the one great game to play if you happen to get your hands on a PS5 and that PSVR2 Headset.
You really find yourself IN those weird, beautiful worlds as VR is supported out of the box.
Doesn't make starting out any less confusing, mind you... :-)

Anyone have a starter guide to NMS? I admit I bought the game when it first released, but never got off the first planet. If anyone has a guide on things to concentrate on the first few 10-30 hours, I would appreciate it.

Just Start a new character and the tutorial will take care of you.

Well, I'll say this.

It's graphically much better now. Gameplay pretty much feels the same though.

The environments were cool, and the storms really cool, but otherwise I'll wait for more updates to try again.

I continue to read great things about this game now.

Sounds like they have finally nailed the third-person procedurally-generated exploration aspects of the game.

I tried it early on but dropped out. I might need to give it a try again.
