Ah, the Beerfarer - a whimsical concept. Take a spaceship that normally would carry fuel in its underslung tanks and instead use them for transporting beer. As it turns out, we're a good 70 years late on this idea.

The above is a Supermarine Spitfire, one of the most famous combat aircraft of WWII. Note the objects under the wings. Bombs? Depth charges? Oh no no no, my dear TESTie...

Yes indeed, they are beer kegs. Ingenious methods were devised to ferry that most crucial of liquids across the English channel to thirsty allied troops in Normandy just after the D-Day invasion.

Fortunately they couldn't get at the kegs in flight. This is not the case with my Beerfarer, however, so pray and pray often that I get to the fleet without crashing (for once) as that would be a supreme case of alcohol abuse.

I don't need more fuel, I got a hydrogen scoop. I'll fly across system at 200 m/s as long as I have 4.7 million gallons of beer for the trip!

Protip: Beer has food value, food has no beer value.
