So, while I was doing a well researched estimation about the future changes to the Hull series cargo capacity, I got a tad sidetracked and just marveled at how the scope of the project has changed over the years, which can be seen from the appearance of the website as well as the type and number of ships available.
2012 there isn't really a "pledge store," it's just a side panel with various options to get one or a combination of the 5 pledgeable ships. The website has an incredibly cheap feel and you even got those tacky advertisemental payment option icons prominently displayed
The next year, there have been slight tweaks to the website, like the packages now start closed. While not much has changed, the website looks much better now.
Later that year, we saw this
2014 the pledge store is looking even more familiar, it's now divided into main categories like packages and ships, and there are enough ships that they've implemented a search functionality as well as filtering by ship class, mass, crew, etc. The things we have today. You'll notice that the top menus are still looking a bit old, but otherwise the site is pretty much what we have today.
Since 2014 we've gotten various updates as well, but they're not about the pledge store so I won't be displaying them here, but, anyhow. Hope you enjoyed this pointless endeavor.
EDIT: Oh right, remember how you used to need to find the CCUs by hand? That got updated at some point, then there was further improvements to the system later a year or two ago, well, I could've gone over that as well but, I already posted. Well, I might update this later.

Which then led us to this much more familiar looking website. Site is looking much better and there are now over twice as many pledgeable ships.
