It's hard to follow what's going on if you've never played Jumpgate, but essentially my friend the_dmx was too close to me and we docked too soon together, so he wound up exploding on the side of the station. He's just out of camera view, but you can hear his ship hit the station followed by a chat message detailing what happened, right after I finish docking.
This man would be a successful TEST pilot.
