Unable to upgrade to Drake Caterpillar

Hoping someone here could shed some light as to why I am unable to accomplish the following upgrade.

I melted a cutlass ($100) and Prospector ($155)

Then purchased a new Mustang Beta (new money) under the premise that I would be able to upgrade to the Drake Caterpillar. It is currently listed under the ship upgrade section. For some reason, I am able to upgrade every ship that is currently listed for me, except for the Cat(only pirate version is listed).

Thoughts?

I think what's going is that the anniversary sale is now over and both the Caterpillar and the Pirate Cat. are only availalbe during special sales. This means that with the sale now over they are unavailable until CIG decides to put them up for sale again.

Yeah, the anniversary sale is over so those upgrades are off the market for awhile.

Hmm... they should probably remove those from the available items listed for upgrade.

I'm sorry you missed your chance at a Cat. this time. It will be available again though.

I burned two ships with 72 mos insurance for this little "test"... now have to use buyback pledge. #sadface

My advice? Buy it second hand off a Test squadron member in the marketplace, or Reddit.
