Vanduul ship options?

I realized that I want a Vanduul ship after flying the Scythe and Glaive around during the free fly thing.

I don't think I like the Blade, it seems like weaksauce, but the Glaive would be great.

My questions:

Is the Glaive expected to go on sale by itself again?

Are their any other upcoming Vanduul ship concept sales that we know of?

Are my only options the gray market or to capture one when the game is live?

To answer in order: 1)Probably not unless it is part of an expensive multi ship package. 2) No Vanduul ships coming up for sale that we know of. The Blade sale was just dropped on us really. 3) Correct unless they sell them again like I answered in #1.

AFAIK they never intended to sell the Glaive in the first place, except to the first X hundred people who completed Vanduul Swarm.

They did change it in the anniversary sale though and sold it as part of a ~ $800 package of alien ships.

At the moment they do not intend to sell it again AFAIK. However that doesn't mean you won't get lucky.

PS- It seems like the Vanduul ships were never intended to be competitive with UEE ships. So there is really no reason to have one, except as a trophy.

That being said, I do have some trophies, and I intend to fly them around, but not in combat when it actually matters. At that point I want the very best ship I can be in, and that doesn't seem like it's going to be a Vanduul ship.

Maybe it was just luck, but the glaive seemed to pack a real punch in a fight?

I'm only going off forum posts I've read. I really hope they're wrong because I'd love to field a Vanduul fleet. It just doesn't seem very likely IMHO.
