Before you all launch into which of you is sleeping with who arguments....... (... cough.... ) ... I have a question about the bunks on the ships.
When we log out of the game, our avatar (for want of a better description) is taken out of the game in a 'holodeck... end program' type way.. leaving the bunks empty... So if they are empty when we are flying the ship, and empty when we log out.... why provide them ? If it's for crew... who will want to log in, and then stare at a bunk ceiling until called for?
Now if there are plans in the future to leave our presence in a bunk once we log out.... that will be pretty cool, however you would then take the risk of someone crashing the ship you're sleeping on, and then likely to wake up dead hahah.
What happens if the owner of the ship logs out while people are in the bunks are logged out too?, will the ship stay in the universe, so that people in the bunks (who log in when the owner is offline) get the opportunity to play and not be held prisoner until the ship owner comes back??
......sorry about this question.... it came to me while making a coffee this evening... lol...
I just dont want my ingame grave stone to say " Killed By Duvet and hot chocolate " .... :D
