Will there be an "NPC-sale"...?

That being said: I've never heard of some sale like that. But I read this question on a German SC-page together with the information, that such sale had been announced somewhen in 2013.

Do you know something about this or heard about...?

I remember scuttlebutt about if you had more than one game package, you could possibly use it to make your own Chewbacca space waifu (maybe not in those words). Not sure if there was ever any follow up from actual developers though.

That was the thought. Custom NPC's which could be work for you or become your beneficiary when you character croaks.

Grain of salt, however. It was one of those ideas that got mentioned, CR said "that sounds cool!" Then the rumor mills started churning, possibly none of it coming from game developers at all. The concept may be long forgotten, scrapped, or never a thing to begin with.

NPC - Non-playable Character = still a person, even if you cant play it.
Skynet just wanted to help people by getting rid of the bad ones.
