I think it's extra hilarious as we JUST watched the new Top Gun the other day and my wife commented: "Wow, that was more of a rip-off of A New Hope than even Episode 7 was, complete with a play-by-play Death Star Trench Run!!!"
"Trench Run" sounds just right, though peeps who haven't seen the original would never guess what that is. I have to say, Peeps who haven't seen the footage at time index 0:56 would likewise never guess how epic that maneuver is. Flying on the deck makes radar lock hard, as the surface below makes backscatter hard to manage.
