My point.
Hornet should be able to withstand constant shooting from a size 1 weapons.

It has space enough for a large power plant, that is probably 5x bigger than that on a Merlin.

Same can be said for a Hornet.
It should never be able to kill a Connie solo.
Connie is just too big and has a large power plant and shield pool that is 5 times that of a Hornet.

This is balance in my eyes.
You cant go with a speed boat and a machine gun versus an aircraft carrier or a destroyer.

But all this balancing issues I states are beside the point.
Merlin serves as an annoyance craft. It was always stated as such.
Connie was never suppose to be a mini ship carrier.

Super Hornet is a Different story tho, since it has larger power plant than the Hornet has.
It is able to sustain even more.
If it just sits there in front of a Merlin, it should be able to recuperate shields vs 3x S1 weapons easily.

So It seems the Merlin Loading issues are tied to the Connie Andromeda.

Just dont do what my dumb ass did and melt your Andromeda for a stand alone Aquila to test it because you need the Package to have access to the PTU... I'm a Dumb Ass and just made my Sunday even worse.....

Simply melt Aquila and ask support to un-melt your Andromeda.

It will be like it never happened.

Tried that. But I cant melt the Aquila because of the 24 hour delay. Sent in a ticket but I doubt they are working on Sunday......

Side note is the the Merlin nose gun still a size 3? I cant remember and I cant get into the PTU at the moment.

It is DEFINITELY not size 3 lol.

It has 3 guns size 1.
The nose gun is proprietary.
You can't change it.

The minigun takes something like 2-3 seconds to spin up
Registered as a bug, Matt Sherman says the spinup should be one second, spindown five seconds. This is meant to enable burst-firing. Since that hasn't been properly implemented, it'll be dealt with eventually.
