Gah, crap:
Covid: Millions of vaccine doses destroyed in England
Nearly two million were AstraZeneca shots that advisers said should not be given to younger adults.

That's not actually bad news. The headline makes you expect bad news, but the story is not bad. They were planning for 20% loss. They had around 4% loss. That's better than anyone would have reasonably expected, and reflects the unprecedently high uptake of the vaccines in the UK.Gah, crap:

It happens to adults too. I miss it!Honestly, I love the snow so I am going to miss it. There is something about waking up to see the world covered in frozen water and the joy as a kid in knowing it's a snow day.
No problem at all, believe me it helped me as much as it helped the thread.I cannot say enough to thank you for your contribution to this thread. Honestly dude, you have been absolutely amazing by keeping us all up to date on the global news. Thank you thank you thank you. Goddamn Cletus trying to have his way with the deer again!?!Possible case of deer-to human Covid infection identified in Canada
Researchers say it is unlikely that the variant found in deer could bypass vaccines, but urge better monitoring of Covid in animalswww.theguardian.com
Apparently that may be how several STD's in human circulation arrived on the scene. How someone who chooses to engage in the animal kingdom can then convince another human to then sleep with them to pass the infection on is, as yet, unclear though.Goddamn Cletus trying to have his way with the deer again!?!
Homo Erectus.Apparently that may be how several STD's in human circulation arrived on the scene. How someone who chooses to engage in the animal kingdom can then convince another human to then sleep with them to pass the infection on is, as yet, unclear though.
Hey, what happens in Tijuana stays in Tijuana.Apparently that may be how several STD's in human circulation arrived on the scene. How someone who chooses to engage in the animal kingdom can then convince another human to then sleep with them to pass the infection on is, as yet, unclear though.
I hear it's a very lovely place.Hey, what happens in Tijuana stays in Tijuana.
Two thoughts after reading the article.Another therapeutic drug to lower risk of death while ill with serious infection has been identified:
Another life-saving Covid drug identified
An anti-inflammatory for rheumatoid arthritis can cut Covid death risk by about a fifth.www.bbc.co.uk
I don't know, but I think it has something to do with patents. Why in hell do pharma's insist on unpronounceable drug names?
I don't know, but I think it has something to do with patents. And we're supposed to be secure in the knowledge that the average person could not possibly afford the drug.
Well, that or making it so they are safe from lawsuits. After all, how can you be sued if no one can say your name?I don't know, but I think it has something to do with patents.
I wouldn't worry about it too much. They have always had odd/weird rules about babies in hospitals, and making it hard for the new dad has always been part of that. It's over with quick enough, just about the time it's your turn to change diapers.Sorry to break the flow somewhat, but riddle me this:
Today most of the covid restrictions were lifted in Hungary with exception of medical facilities where masks are still mandatory. This is fine.
But
What is the logical reasoning behind allowing me to visit my wife in the hallway of the maternity ward, which obviously results in at least some form of body contact and with most sane people, at least a kiss. But I'm not allowed to see my newly minted half-copy at all, even though I can be present at the extraction process in person and hodl the little bugger!
The levels of bullshit are just comically absurd at this point...
It's gonna be the 2nd copy so I'm all too familiar with diapers and timings lolI wouldn't worry about it too much. edit: Congrats?
