I love the way people use the term "review" to describe "someone guessing about a product that doesn't exist yet" :D
He is reviewing specifications that NVidia published. So, a review.

I felt it to be a great review of the information from NVidia... it dispelled some of the misinformation that has been flying around. I will be interested to see how it performs IRL to see how much they "fluffed" the numbers. The 1070 will likely be the first "current-gen" video card I will ever own; they are certainly priced right.

I would probably say it is closer to data analyzing over a review, but I am not going to complain about it. It is close enough and gives information I wouldn't have done research on my own this early. Thanks for the post! I doubt I would be able to afford either any time soon, but there is always Christmas!
I guess it'd be classified as more of a 'preview'?

I have a new PC shipping the 31st with a 1080 in it. First new PC in a LOOOOONG time. Can't wait.
