Clearly all TEST members are given special infinity damage helmets which allow for this kind of thing. It is not a bug but a hidden feature. I heard you can activate it by pressing the following keys(note the CAPS lock is needed): W H E N S O T S M O N Y O Y A ?

The secret is out. I have this mapped to my voice attack software..... It was initially under "By the powers of Grayskull", but that was getting to be too obvious.

Might want to change it to something like "INITIATE TESTING PROCEDURE!"

Your character should then yell at you:
"I HAVE THE AURORA!"

Hopefully we can forgo voice commands altogether at some point. Maybe a series of winks and nods through VR....

I must have done it wrong then because Seung showed up and started screaming at me to construct additional pylons.
