Hmmm....your googling was getting a workout with that one! Looks like the Sylvester Stallone in his later years of being jacked up on horse steroids, all went downhill after Rambo 3!
No work for a large company as a senior plumber....wonder what I'll be in another 20 years time if Im senior already? o_O Being a Master Plumber I have the ability to start my own buisness tomorrow if i desired, which i dont, too much work running your own business. When your not busy doing the work, your busy doing quoting or billing, when your not busy with those your busy taking people through the courts to get payment. Dont think I'd ever run my own business. The Lucy dog is probably around 11-12....not quite sure to be exact coz she originally came from the pound.....dont know who could ever give her up.....bestest dog EVER! :DAre you self-employed?
Poor doggie - how old is he/she?
Buy Rolo a Cruci... ya know you want to :-)...Found me a decent price crucible, might snap that up also.....so many ships to buy and not enough money....what is a person to do!
Your more than welcome to borrow it young man whenever you want. Seem to be getting more and more ships, cant fly them all. Waiting on this guy to respond also in the Grey market, getting impatient.o_OBuy Rolo a Cruci... ya know you want to :)
From the pound? Whats that? Aw, 11-12 is a high age :) Than she may be in some pain in the morning, when the old bones are telling her to start the day more slowly than the former days.No work for a large company as a senior plumber....wonder what I'll be in another 20 years time if Im senior already? o_O Being a Master Plumber I have the ability to start my own buisness tomorrow if i desired, which i dont, too much work running your own business. Are you in a shopping rush or kind of? How many ship do you own in the meantime? And what style do you suppose to play lateron? Afaik you are buying person transporters (890 jump) as well as fighters, bombers and trading vessels? That doesn't sound like pieces of a puzzle that fit very well, to me at least :D ;)Doing me some Grey market shopping.....one bloke hasnt gotten back to STILL on a Harbinger I've found...good price. You haven't really Rolo called a young man, have you? :DYour more than welcome to borrow it young man whenever you want. Seem to be getting more and more ships, cant fly them all. Waiting on this guy to respond also in the Grey market, getting impatient.o_O
Those Tornados look pretty cool, probably not the best thing to experiance fist hand though and I'd imagine they wouldnt transport you and your dog to a magical world of tin men and lions either! Just been raining here heavily the last few days, is winter after all in Oz, is to be expected but atleast I'm snug as a bug at home watching movies and bumming around. From the pound? Has the guy responded? What ship have you bought this time?
Morning all! Monday again, and I am really the opposite of "motivated". *sigh* But the sun is shining as she does since the last two weeks, whereas in the meantime the south is drowning in rain and mud. The far north of Germany has been hit by tornados yesterday, which is very unusual:

You all have a safe day - and make sure to have a coffee! ;)
Cheers!
Sam
Here you are:I've got a hot latte
Woah! Wall of text incoming!:D Loved reading through it, thank you! Thats a nice pile of ships you have there - very expensive, too! You are aware, that you can by a CCU Aquila -> Carrack on the grey markets...?Those Tornados look pretty cool, probably not the best thing to experiance fist hand though and I'd imagine they wouldnt transport you and your dog to a magical world of tin men and lions either! Just been raining here heavily the last few days, is winter after all in Oz, is to be expected but atleast I'm snug as a bug at home watching movies and bumming around.
As for my doggy, yes is getting old, getting grumpy and impatient.....reminds me of myself actually! ;) A Dog Pound is like a shelter, they take all the unwanted animals and try to find them new homes. Think if I had a dog again after Lucy (current dog) I'd only ever have an English Staffordshire. Some people think they look like a tiny Pitball but they are a million times from it. They are the nicest natured dogs, always want attentions and pats. They make a terrible guard dog though, if a burgler was breaking in she would probably "oink" and roll over back to sleep or if she did get up she would want pats from the person robbing me blind! LOL :D Cant ask for a better dog than that! Hopefully she will be around for a few more years I hope but I notice she is having issues in recent times that remind me she wont be about forever unfortunately.
As for by recent ship purchases, yes I have been going abit crazy of late but beleive it or not there is actually a plan.....and its not to own every ship in the game although its starting to seem it! Just picked up the Harginger LTI and Banu Merchantman LTI yesterday. Very happy with those and give me some different gaming options. This is my plan-
Super Hornet LTI - standard ship for short distance pew pewing and likely solo questing within its range
Vanguard Harbinger LTI _ will definately pick up the Sentinal BUK to add some versitility in bigger operations but that will be my ship for taking down larger ships and causing some damage.
890Jump - can do alittle bit of haulage but not much, more so to travel about alittle in luxury and could always do some personel transport jobs.
Redeemer LTI (upgraded from a Buck) - my troop ship, escort ship, my PAIN ship.
Connie Aquila LTI (upgraded from a Buck) - my exploring ship but in all likelyhood this will get melted and replaced with an orginal Carrack LTI
Reclaimer LTI - Salvage ship to make some coin and collect some resources, looks damn cool also, reminds me of the Aliens movie
Banu Merchantman LTI - my actual transport ship, has more protection that the Hull series for the goods and reasonable armaments to protect them, plus it looks pretty cool.
Buccaneer LTI - will likely melt it as I have my hornet and dont want 2 or everything, see I have self restraint! :D
Will have my hands on a Crucible LTI when the seller hits me up its available which may be today or the next few days so thats a certainty. Also as said before will likely replace the Aquila with a Carrack LTI in the shorterm plans. After all that is said and finalised I may dip my toes in the future Corvette concept sale when it happens but dont really have urges for any other ship currently available. I tend to buy the ships that I really like the look of or what they do which is the way it should be. I basically will do abit of everything except mining. So there is a game plan, Jack of all trades master of everything! ;) Plus like I said before, if people want to borrow ships to enhance their experiance or expand an armada on a big opp, they are more than welcome. Caring is sharing after all.
As far as Rolo goes, I am aware he has a few years on me but we are only as old as we feel, isnt that right buddy? Plus I love all his information he has on some of the gaming mechanics, are you taking apprentices Rolo? ;)
Before 2015, I/we also ordered sometimes at the pizza delivery service. But since the German government decided to inaugurate the statutory minimum wage (of 8,50 EUR / hour), the prices have exploded: family order of pizza now would cost us 40 - 50 Euro. And for that money I almost can pay the weekend groceries + do the cooking. No coffee for me at the moment people, think I might order me a pizza for delivery! The shop is seriously like 150m up the road, but its cold and rainy outside, and I'm happy and warm inside......delivery it is! :D
My comment was an erection joke but ok.Here you are:

Just curious: is there something like a cold latte...?!
Yeah was abit of a text barrage but atleast your learnered in the workings of my mind, its quite a complicated thing dont you know! I have thought about CCUing the Aquila to a Carrack but my thinking is if I'm spending that much money I might as well buy the original standalone pledge. Also I need to free up store credit for when the Corvette is available and I'd imagine that wouldnt be cheap. Here you are:

Yesterday I've made myself iced coffee with a spoon (or two) vanilla ice in it. There's nothing better, when the temperatures in the shadow are reaching the 30°C mark. :)

And yeah, Rolo is one of the most valuable user in here, always having deep thoughts and very useful information :)

I'm barely Australian if i'm honest. When I was 6 I moved to the Middle East (Dubai) for my folks work, spent 16ish years over there, and have been back in Aus for a few years. Sydney for while, now Brisbane. I was born here though... in Townsville of all places o.OYour not from SA are you?
