Absolutely *sigh* I'm oldschool I guess. I was o.K. with these Marvel plastic kind of films when the first ones were released, Iron Man, Thor and foremost Captain America. But...now? In the meantime I'm really bored about these mass-produced films which are lack of soul and story. Bores the hell out of me.
Guess which films I watched recently? Over the Top and True Lies ...

2 movies I haven't seen or heard mentioned in a long time.

While I do enjoy the marvel movies, I go see them when they come out in theatres and buy them on DVD, you are right about them not having an real substance to them. I think that's why deadpool was as great as it was because, it wasn't just some thrown together movie. There are others out there but it's like this thread, need to sift through all the crap just to find something good.
