I need to meet CIG finally. After all the emails, phonecalls and skypes, its about time we met face to face.

I also need to meet our streamers and other TEST members, these personal connections are the most important too me, and I can't do this sober.

There is a lot wrong with this. We are not a company, regisrered trade mark or a charity. The only tangeable benefit will be for you. Lets not mistake ourselves for anything more then a group of people with a common interest and while you do a lot of work, this is for a hobby and not a job.

I find this more about what you want to do and asking us to contribute. While the request was set up by another you clearly support it despite being in a position to change this.

I feel that the most appropriate option if you want to go is to pay for this yourself. If youre not able to afford this then i dont think its appropriate to ask or encourage others to pay.

I would agree with you if our membership was contingent on his trip, but it isn't. Frankly, it is no different than any of the streamers going with the support of others as well. If you don't want to donate, fine, don't. As the first person to toss money into the hat, I am fine with doing so. Even with the expectation that I will be sitting here at my house (though, I won't because the Austin Bar Citizens are going to have viewing party) while Montoya will be there to "represent" us.
