Rock Raiders in-game meetups starting October 1st and 2nd at 2:00pm CST / 19:00 UTC
Starting October 1st and then on the 2nd we will be doing the first of many Rock Raiders meetups in game. It may be weekly or once every 2 weeks but we want to start doing these regularly up to 3.0. Watch the Rock Raiders Thread for details. As cliche as it sounds the goal of these meetups is to start building communication and teamwork between people while starting acquaint people to multi-crew ships even if they are not fully functional right now. Some people already have this down fairly well, others may not have. Polish skills and share tips,tricks, and share information. Give constructive feedback to your co-pilot(s) on what they need to do to push themselves that little extra bit.
We’re looking to have people team up in groups of 2 to start and use 2-seater ships to do missions before going up to Freelancers and Constellations toward the end. If you don’t have a 2-seater or something else, no problem. Plenty of people have some and can spawn their extras. At this point it’s all about the learning. I just now can land without the autoland, true story. You’ll glitch out, you’ll crash the game but don’t worry. Don’t be afraid to ask different people to join them, mix it up.
Most of the current Rock Raiders staff will be on in as many instances as possible that people can join and group up with. Just add us to your contacts. Black_Sunder, Gamefleek, Adiran, Blind_Owl, Jhonon1, and maybe one or 2 more if they show up. Montoya will also be joining us and having a good time. Big M himself. Everyone is welcome to join in and play with us, not just those that are interested in the Industry Division. Tell your friends, come learn, make money working with people and have some fun doing it. We’ll do something different for the next Meetup. If people have ideas, by all means post them. We may even invade Grimhex at least once before 3.0.
As a reminder, we’re staging in Port Olisar for this as we will for the other Meetups so be sure to wipe your criminal record before the 1st or 2nd. Other Meetups will be scheduled after these are done and will be posted in the OP of the Rock Raiders thread so keep watch.
