Wow, you're absolutely right. I hadn't gotten around to listening to their stuff yet but I am so glad I did. It is nice to hear something that is actually original instead of the usual formula. Most music is just "sick beats A + Lyrics B + Superstar C, D, E autotuned + obsessive radio time = music, yay!". This is made exponentially successful if someone has some drama, or mental breakdown, or is shagging someone, or is on some reality show.

I try not to be cynical. I really don't want to turn into that angry old man "get off my lawn!'. However, have you heard autotuned dubstep?! It sounds more like my old Nintendo crashing than music.

Then there is stuff like this. It is so refreshing to hear actual talent. It just reminds me that I need to stop listening to the radio...

Radio = millennial horse shit..... along with their stupid fucking lingo like "on the fleek" "squad" "swag" "lit" "suh"

if anyone uses any of those words when talking to me, i automatically assume they are at least 50 IQ lower than the average human. And trust me, I deal with a LOT of teenagers being in the position I am in at my job.

I'm right there with you. Music for the past (I don't want to say how long) is utter trash.
I deleted the rest of my rant because it reads like an old fogey complaining about Elvis's sinful dancing. o_O

There's nothing wrong with having a stick for a toy. They just get better as you get older. Now I have more expensive sticks to play with. We get sticks that go boom (rifles), sharp sticks (swords), joysticks, the manual transmission in my wicked fast car, and even the stick I have been playing with all along (the one my wife plays with now too). Never underestimate the potential for fun with a simple stick...
