Please do! It looks like a good concept, but I'm curious on combat, crafting, class interactions, and little things before I invest.CBE3 supposedly starts on thursday, so I may have some footage of shananigans this weekend.
You may think that, but they're really restricted free to play people. Everything is done on a kind point system. Think energy from facebook games. This governs pretty much every activity in the game besides moving and combat. Want to gather something? Thats a heap of points. Want to open the bags of coins every enemy drops instead of actual coins? Thats a point. They regenerate at an agonizing pace for free players and there is a very low cap for them. They regen 4x faster for people paying and there is a high cap. I've liked what I've seen so far beyond that. Just be prepared that if you want to do it beyond a casual level you're going to need to pay a sub. Or be prepared to leave the game running 24/7 because f2p players on regen energy points by being online. It's likely to limit bots and RMT as well as making players want to sub.wow, that looks intense. No way I'm paying 50 dollars for a game that is going to be free in a few months or even weeks, though. I'll be sure to download it once it goes out of the beta.
sweet! Thanks for the update. I just cleaned up my hard drive, I'm sure I can find room for yet another free game...The game itself is already free. You can pay for patron status, which gets you bonuis XP and labor points, but isn't neccesary. The open beta starts this thursday at 10 AM PST, and the head start for founders is on the 12th.
