Looks like a nice screen, especially in triple setup (*starts trowing an already thin wallet to the screen... take my IOU*)
Also that crosshair function can come in handy, no more Blu-Tack on my screen. :D

I'll look to upgrade my monitor (it's almost 8 years old now!!! wow...) when I get a new GPU... (which I just upgraded so it'll be another 3-4 years)

I have been using 1440 for 3 years now. I didnt luck out with a 120hz panel, but regardless, 1440 is awesome.
I recently moved my 1440 screen to a secondary in favor of a 29" 2560x1080 specifically to get the 21:9 aspect ratio.
As nice as Gsync is, its a huge premium. Way I figure is by the time SC is done, 4k will be basically standard.

The only real new monitor I will need a year will probably be an Oculus. I already have a 1440p ips monitor and can say that the pixel density is worth it, but when something like oculus becomes available I don't think I will be using it as much for first person viewed games. Probably just 3rd person at that point.

See, you say that, but I don't think you understand the raw terror that accompanies knowing that not only is your wife a skilled biologist with extensive dissection training, but she owns her own dissection kit with multpile blades that comes in a velvet lined leather case. I have a feeling this monitor will inspire some advancement in the resolution of mass-produced monitors - hopefully by the time SC comes out it'll be somewhat affordable. As Droc said, maybe even 4K, however unlikely that may be. Nobody wants to drop $3k on monitors!
I am getting this on Wednesday lets see if it is good as they say for the price :P
