So atm I've been on my Warhammer 40K kick where I go read about 40K, the lore, etc. It comes and goes but its on right now. Anyway I had been playing the old DoW and expansions for a couple weeks and decided to take another look at DoW2.
Story goes I was in the beta way abck in the day and never liked it because at the time i was more of a traditional RTS guy: gather resources and make great army. So the tactical nature of DoW 2 turned me off to it. Fast forward to many years later I went to youtube to see if anyone had done a Lets Play of the campaign and by Beer someone had. spent several hours watching the videos in order to learn about it and in general to see how things worked. After I had seen all of it I'd go back occasionally and watch a couple.
So few days ago I decided I wanted the game. Sat on that for a few days and downloaded Steam + bought DoW 2 and expansions. Started playing it Saturday and here we are. Still going strong. I love this game!
