Where you from stranger?
Not Technically from Michigan (Middle Coast proper) More like "from Madison Wisconsin" But I think that bordering two of those lakes aught to count as Middle Coast too.
What drew you to Star Citizen?
Oh man... I been watching SC for some time now and really should have bought in before this. I can't say I was skeptical, I guess I was just waiting, prioritizing money until SC was closer to being playable.
What do you look forward to most in Star Citizen? (PVP, Exploration, etc)
Kind of a hard one for me. pVp and explo are interesting to me. I think I like to find niches that need exploiting in whatever aspect of the game. I think I'd like to run some cargo for a bit and take turns escorting some freighters. I think I'd like to play on the fringe, Not really being an outright known criminal.
What was the first game you remember playing?
I remember playing a bunch of PS2 games and first gen XBOX games, Not sure if one sticks out as "First". I remember playing the crap out of Baulders Gate on PS2
What other games do you play?
Currently grinding in STO. But I'm not really happy there. The game is really just ~meh~. Way too easy to be OP / pVe is just way way way too easy.
~Sigh~ I've also swallowed the blue pill and have been playing Assassin's Creed since the beginning and am looking forward to the next one. Alien Isolation looks sweet too. I liked the original Dead Space for the "Scared the poop out of me" too. The last Dead Space, not so much. FPS isn't really my thang, but Borderlands rocked me. The comic booky art style of Borderlands just made me happy.
I am squarely of the opinion that publishers ruin games and franchises and dev studios. Of course, this is one reason I'm trying to be patient with SC. Even more than having a kick ass game to play and mod and pour my free time into, I really would like to see SC prove that publishing giants can go quietly into the night and no one would miss them. Even more that the world would be better off without them. Tall expectation, I know.
Picard or Kirk?
Tough to answer in one word for me. Picard, but TOS is my favorite. TOS just seems more distant and alieny... Maybe because it's further away in time. My controversial answer to this question is "Archer". No, I don't think he's the best or the most likable, but rather he's the most likely to actually have been chosen. He was equal parts engineer and test pilot and had the right last name. Politically, he was a shoe in, and therefor the most likely.
But, If you want to have a real conversation (argument) how about this?
T'Pol >Uhura> Ezri Dax>Ensign Ro>Hoshi>Dr. Crusher>7of9
My mind prefers thinking about this rather than old bald guys.
