Run Spectrum as a native windows app

If you are one of those who generally hate apps in a browser and rather have a seperate app for it, i wrapped spectrum into a windows app:

Open Spectrum.exe, voila!

What is it actually and how did you do it?

There is no sorcery involved, it is Electron, a wrapper for webpages, similiar to what Discord does.

It is the app "nativefier" that uses Electron to automatically wrap any webpage. You can do it yourself if you don't trust the premade app.

I was actually thinking about creating something similar closer to release. My idea was to make a TEST Commander app. Essentially giving you desktop access to Spectrum, these forums, and discord. Just a simple tray icon that you right click to open which ever one you want.

You could also add other apps/functions as needed. I did this for my guild in a MMO I played a long long time ago and it was pretty useful, Though that app also had functions for in-game play.
